In order to listen to free streaming radio on SKY.fm, you must have the latest version of Flash.

To tune in click on the "Listen Now" button which will open up a new window. In this example, we are selecting Smooth Jazz.

For first time users, this new window will display a menu for you to select the type of connection that is available. Select the appropriate connection type. If buffering occurs or you have selected the wrong type, you can change it by clicking on the wrench icon.

Once music has started playing, you will be able to view current and previous played tracks. To change channels, click on the "Channel" icon on far right of the player and select the channel.

To change connection speeds, click on the wrench icon.

Select the appropriate connection type. If buffering or skips occurs please use "Low".

Common issues:

1) Unable to connect.

a. Is Flash 9 or higher installed? If not then obtain the lastest version of Flash, please go here.

b. Are there any firewalls installed that may be blocking certain ports that we use for streaming? If not sure, please check with your IT dept or disable your home firewall to test.

c. Are there any ad blocking/Flashing blocking plugins install on your browser? If so disable and try again

2) Stream buffers

a. Is connection type select correctly? If not please click on the wrench icon and change it to the "Low" setting

b. Is connection saturated or on a wireless connection? If so check to make sure there is sufficient bandwidth and that wireless signal is good.

c. Check ISP to see if there are temporary network issues which may affect your local line.
